I've been learning to paint with pastels and I have a few paintings that I'm excited to share. My subject matter so far comes from snapshots I take while visiting various local dog parks with my two dogs (an aussie and a brittany). I am compelled to capture the beauty I see all around me and I choose to do so with the medium of soft pastels because of their vibrancy and exciting layering possibilities.
